I need the rear driver side tire on my FWD car replaced.

Should I be getting other services w/ the tire replacement (ie balancing, alignment?). The other tires were only put 2500 miles ago by the previous owner.

Mount and balance for sure. If the other tires only lasted ^2500 miles, you should get the alignment checked too.

Balancing: yes, and unbalanced wheel can create vibration at highway speed. A new tire may not balance exactly like the one it is replacing, and the act of mounting the tire will often move or knock off the balancing weights.

Alignment would be pointless: that normally refers to a front end alignment, and you are replacing

If you have 3 tires on your vehicle all you need is a tire of identical size, that writing given to the seller will get you an appropriate size, balancing is necessary if this will be a permanent tire, but if you need any old tire thats ok front wheel drive needs the balancing,as steering is affected by a mickey moused tire mounting!

Probably just balancing, no 2 tires are exactly the same. Shouldnt need to align it though.

Road hazard and replacement coverages aren't transferable to the best of my knowledge, so you might be stuck unless you work out something with the tire place. If you have the documents from the previous owner it might help to take to the same place and ask them, the least that will happen is they'll say no.

The tire tension monitoring structures are interior the tire, the two on the wheel itself, or interior the tire valve. they ought to never influence the tire, or the tire cost. The tension sensors in actuality deliver a radio sign to a module. have been given no longer something to do with the definitely tire, different than to experience tension loss interior the tire.

The one you replace will need to be balanced.
