couple of days ago i was driving and it just turned off, i waited a bit and it started, went to try this morning and it didnt start, the engine is turning but it doesnt fire, put the tester and the code P0232 came out, i looked it up and its saying could be the FP relay, i switched it and nothing, it also said it could be the fuel pump itself but i changed it no more than a year ago. wat else can i do

The code doesn't say the fuel pump itself is bad, in fact the code indicates that there is high voltage in the circuit, which means if it's not a relay problem, it's an electrical problem. You have a short to power somewhere, check all your wires.

Also, as Robert said, you have another fuel pump shut off switch which is called inertia switch, it should be on the passenger's front side on the right wall by the door under the glove box. You could also check that.

You have a fuel pump shut off switch for safety reasons in your car somewhere. READ your manual about this. It shuts off the fuel pump in the event of an accident, and has a reset switch. It will prevent fuel from pumping. ALSO, if you have something wrong with your ignition, there will be no power sent to your fuel pump as another safeguard. Also check your CRANK POSITION SENSOR< which tells the engine when to fire plugs, indirectly. It ALSO will prevent starting of engine. Good luck!

Just because you changed it before does not mean it is still good, unfortunately, which means there is an underlying problem that needs fixing as well if your FP keeps going bad. Check the fuse and relay again and make sure you are getting proper voltages through the circuitry.

you may desire to attempt the gas stress on the gas rail. merely because of the fact gas comes out would not propose you have the required gas stress to run the engine. 171 and 174 are lean codes for financial enterprise a million and financial enterprise 2, this is clever, its getting no gas. in case you rather have gas stress, then the injectors are the subsequent concern to examine. they won't be getting a sign from the pcm. this could be for somewhat some motives, the 1st to examine is crank sensor. I rather have considered quite a few crankshaft pulleys migrate in direction of the engine and decrease into the crankshaft place sensor. The rubber mount for the pulley deteriorates, and helps it to head faraway from the damper in direction of the engine block. a rapid look with a flashlite will inform you if the pulley is in place or has moved. And fairly, the belt will survive, and merely holiday on the rubber on the damper. the only symptom is a no initiate, from the crank sensor being destroyed by ability of the pulley. wish this helps, and sturdy success!
