Tough one. Not psychic. What's the year, make, model, engine size?

Maybe a transverse motor mount? First, how do you know it's broken? You test for a broken mount by carefully lifting the motor a block of wood under the oil pan helps) just a bit. If you see the mount separating, that's a good sign it's failed. Once you've done that, you need to change it. Leave the motor up in the air a wee bit. There will be bolts holding the mount to the motor and to the frame. Remove these. (Easier said than done, since getting access can be a pain.) With about an inch of gap, put the new motor mount in place and carefully let the motor onto the mount. The bolts go back, tighten and check everything. Not rocket science, but plenty awkward and likely to lead to skinned knuckles. Take care!

vehicle make and model would really help me here. Basically a mount is two pieces of metal with a piece of rubber sandwiched in the middle to take up any vibration and still hold everything tight. You need to unbolt the metal pieces from the frame and the motor and jack up or rock the engine away from the mount to remove it. Then install a new one. some mounts are very easy and others are next ot impossible. Good luck
