EGR in honda accord ****************?

i have a honda accord 2.2 ictdi ex 2004 and have been told that the egr needs replacing but at a cost of over £500 just for the part without fitting i just cant afford it at the moment. Dose anyone know if i can get a compatible part from elsewhere if so where,and is it possable to fit it myself and if so how.I know this one is tricky but if anyone can help me then thank you and if not then thank you for taking the time to read this.

check ebay for the part you probably can do it yourself go on the honda forums for your country and post your problem after you find the part someone will help you.

An EGR Valve new is very expensive alright but it's one of those parts which you can put into a car 2nd hand. The 1st answerer is correct to a degree but i'd be wary of EBay because alot of the sellers aren't willing to take returns if a part is incorrect.



I could ship you over an EGR Valve for alot less than what you were quoted and i'd be confident it would be the correct part for your Accord. I was going to email you but you had it blocked so drop me a mail. As you can tell I have high points on my account so im genuine.

don't you have a neighbour or friend who could recommend a mechanic that works for himself after hours - then it could probably be done cheaper
