leatherman vs. victorinox?

Question

i'm looking to buy a small pocket multitool. are either of these brand better than the other? i've heard good things about leathermans but another guy said victorinox has been around much longer so that make them better?

Victorinox is the original, Heard of a Swiss Army Knife right? well thats who makes it. Leatherman is a late comer, different style, the folding design makes it so you can get more stuff into it, and to be honest most of it useless, although the plyers are nice, however Victorinox makes a copy of it, along with many others, I have one made by Snap On, and as with all Snap On tools warrantied for life as is Leatherman and Victorinox, only thing is I have a Snap On truck show up at my shop once a week, so if it breaks they replace it right then and there, the others you have to take back to where ever you bought it or ship it back to get a replacement. actually you can buy some Snap On tools at Sears these days, so you don't have to have a tool truck show up at your place of buisness to buy there tools anymore, or at least a few selected tools, there multi purpose tool would be one of them.

I am guessing you are talking about the victorinox spirit multitool?(leatherman looking) if you are the Vic has more refinement, polishing and a smoother action than the LM, how ever both are good, the LM comes in way more verities than the Vic spirit, however leatherman has started to make some of it's parts in china and assembling them in the USA, a misleading advertisement, all victorinox multitools are Swiss made, which I prefer over so called American products that misslead people in what they are buying, that said they are both very sturdy tools that will last you...roll a dice ;)
