My car stalls out when I stop and tuen the wheel?

When I am going and i have to stop and turn the wheel at the same time the car sometimes stalls out also when i just let it idle in the driveway it feels like it is bumping around. It is a 1996 subaru impreza outback and I am hoping this will be something i can fix myself for a relatively cheap price. Thanks for any help

You need a tune up ,spark plugs etc

It's tough to say without looking at it and doing a simple diagnostic.



Loose spark plug wire?

IAC not working?

EGR sticking open a little?

Vacuum leak?



I could list many more things, but that would be a waste of time.



Is the check engine light on?

could well b just a tune up or it could b the icv [ idle control valve ]
