FS!E SS engine rebuild?

Question

Rebuilding my yamaha fs1e ss.
so far on the parts list for the engine rebuild I have:
Piston
Crankshaft
clutch plates
gasket set
oil seal set
engine cover bolts and cylinder studs

Anything else you could recommend to get before I put it back together?

I'm assuming by "crankshaft" you mean crank complete with crank seals?

very important with a two stroke.

So sounds like you've got the most parts,only other things I'd suggest would be new clutch springs,

oh and check the back of the clutch basket.

and a new primary sprocket if needed.

Piston rings

Ignition points

Gugeon pin clips

Gasket sealant

Spark plug



....and anything else you fid during the rebuild which is broken or worn out.

Why the crankshaft, you can get that reground if it is scored. You need conrod and crankshaft bearings.
