My car key is stuck in the ignition.?

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus and half of the key is stuck in the ignition but the car starts with the key in it if you use the other half tor turn it (how unsafe) and i really need to figure out if there is a way to take the key out (because its so deep) or should i call a locksmith? Do I need to buy a new cylinder? Please help!!

This is just an idea which I suppose I might try in your situation. Take some five minute epoxy and mix the two parts, then let it set a little to get sticky. Then put the body of the key in the epoxy, wipe it pretty well just to have a teensy weensy bit of glue on the broken part. stick it in to mate with the shank of the key in the lock. Just wait overnight or a good while and see if you can pull the thing out. Of course, you don't want to get too much glue or you might just be unable to remove both pieces. Either way, if it gets stuck, just pull it hard with pliers. It's just an idea. Think about it.

See a locksmith and then to fix the whole ignition 'cause that seems to be the problem, go to your ford dealer.

2 options....

1. call a locksmith and he will take care of everything fast.

2. Call Chuck Norris and he will do it faster. But he might kill you after he's done.
