My 1995 Chevrolet Lumina wont start. I turn the key and nothing happens. Days before I noticed how it sounded like it didnt want to start. It isnt the battery. So what could it be?

Unless you have hads the battery removed and load tested, then you have no way of knowing it is not the battery. I suggest you start by having your battery load tested. Just because your radio comes on and you lights work doesn't mean you have a good battery.

check for loose connections at your starter or starter solenoid.or if by not wanting to start you mean it turned over very slowly the it is possible that the armature oinyour starter is dragging due to wear on the brushes, or maybe your brushes have gone bad all together, if you could give any more info on not wanting to start it would help, you should also make sure your battery cables are tigh and have good connections , are you sure it isnt your battery, have you had it load tested

when you turn the key and no sound at all, check the battery terminals for tightness and make sure they are clean, also try hitting the starter, it could be stuck or the solenoid is bad.

-The alternator may have broken down (so it hasn't been charging the battery).

-The starter motor may have broken down.
