Pulstar Pulse plugs (sparkplugs)? worth it or gimmick?

hey does anyone know about the Pustar pulse plugs? i thought they were a gimmick because i liked the claims (and personal results) of the e3 diamondifre plugs, but there were as many people yelling "gimmick" at them as there were supporters.

with the pulse plugs, all i see are supporters.

i have a 96 camaro v6 thats gonna need new plugs before tool long. its going to need expensive plugs anyway, the oem is a $7/plug iridium and thats what im planning on using. the pulseplugs will be $13 per plug (ouch!). it would be $80 for just 6 plugs!!!!!

does anyone have experience with these and can tell me if the extra $40 to upgrade to pulse plugs from oem will be worth it, or is better spent on other replacements in the engine?

thanks

Sorry but I'm gonna be blunt.. Gain some common sense man. Snake oil is just that, snake oil.

There has been gimmicks dealing with auto parts since there was a car, and will keep to be as long as someone is fool enough to buy the gimmick plug.

ALL of those fancy spark plugs rates right up there with the elec. supercharger and fuel line magnets. They don't gain you anything.

I have told you this before and will tell you again.

I have dyno and/or track tested every spark plug known to man and NON of them works better than std. plugs and alot of them even killed off power

I build performance engines for a living. I race in NHRA DOT tire class.

After MANY test I only recommed, run or install these spark plugs

AC delco

Autolite

NGK V power

My 600 HP 355 camaro is running autolites, my dad's 700 HP twin turbo charged firebird is running autolite AR plugs, my 390 HP vortec headed 355 in S10 is running AC delco, our 1987 'burb is got AC delco, my dad's 98 blazer has AC delco, my buddies 400 HP 383 with 200 HP nitrous has NGK v power

The only way those pulse plugs will make you any faster is by lightening up your wallet.. lol

Really man, look at the race cars. If you want to know if a part works look at pure proof from cars that race.

If there is any gains, racers will use it.

Also keep in mind I said racers and proof, not ricers and hear say

Chevyrac is merely 0.5 stupid right here. What he isn't getting is that present day fuels are reactive to helpful metals. AC delco plugs are no longer EVEN RATED ANYMORE IN SPARK PLUG tests!!! they are entire history!!! The iridium plugs from the generating facility are the suited ones to apply, because of the fact the mixture of iridium and platinum recent interior the combustion chamber sell extra finished combustion, and consequently ultimate means and gas mileage. present day fuels chemically react with those helpful metals. IRIDIUM plugs are quite comparable to those so-stated as pulse plugs, different than that the heart beat plugs do no longer comprise any helpful metals to the better of my information. Diamondfire plugs are additionally ridiculous because of the fact they are made basically with copper, which does no longer react with gas. If I have been you, i could use basically BOSCH Fusion plugs, or DENSO twin tip plugs, or DENSO iridium plugs. the justifications are very easy more desirable production suggestions taht sell extra efficient sealing on the insulators, extra efficient warmth disipation as a results of develop shell alloy use. and extra efficient SPARK PLUG try consequences!!! Even GM would not use their very own plugs of their bigger end engines. sturdy luck!!

They are a SCAM ! So are "Blue Lightening". Multi-Electrodes spark plugs are also a waste of money.

Pulstar web site says they have a "Peak" Capacitor built in them AND they increase you 50 watt spark to over 1 million watts. A capacitor required to do that would be extremely large AND would require a very long time to recharge PLUS the capacitor would have to be across the center electrode and the ground casing. Even if it did generate 1 million watts of power, it would destroy all the electronics on & In the car!

My recommend: Single-Electrode Platinum Spark Plugs [Champion brand].
