Are tire valve caps with LED lights legal?

Question

I found those tire valve caps which apparently light up when the vehicle is in motion...are those legal?

Also, how good are those? does anyone know? how long do they last?

It mostly depends on the state. Some may allow it, while others do not. But the biggest factor is whether they impair the vision of other drivers. As for any lights on your car, if they are too bright to the point that someone cannot see clearly, it would be dangerous to use and you could get in trouble with the police. But considering that those lights are so small, and pointed to the side instead of in front of you, you should be fine.

the law doesnt state the haveing led lights on the car is illegal.. so it is ok to drive with led light s on the tire caps

i literally just bought some pink, too go with my pontiac grand prix. its got all oink camo interior and i tought this woul be cool, but i relly dont feel like geting pulled over because of them...

No they are not illegal. But as far as looks go ..... well i guess everyone has their own opinion.



And I think it'll tell you on the box how long they last.
