I have a 2001 chevy monte carlo ss, My HVAC blower stopped working at first i noticed the fan was running slow then it just stopped blowing, I can still feel cold air coming out but not blowing, also the ac button light wont turn off. Also, i noticed the digital outside temp gauge doesn't come on when i start the car, i have to hold the button down to get it to turn on. One more thing, my cruse control stopped working as well. wondering if these are all related? Last winter we had a lot of heavy rain and i could hear what sounded like water sloshing around coming from the center dash, has anyone heard of these cars leaking water? Aside from this i have had no problems with the car at all, it has only 80k miles, It belonged to my mom..

Oh yeah the only thing that would cause water to leak inside your dash would be your heater core. Its usually located underneath the dash on the passanger side.

Your HVAC blower problem may be the HVAC blower motor resistors that gave out.

Not sure about the digital temp gauge problem.

Cruise control, you may want to check the fuse for the cruise control system. The fuse is often overlooked thinking its something else is the problem. But if the fuse is not the problem you should check the cruise control servo. Depending if its electronically or vacuum operated, the cause for the servo not to function may be as simple as wire damage or shortage to a vacuum line restriction or a vacuum leak, or maybe replacing the servo.

Hope info was helpful

Possible A/C drain stopped up and water in box under dash. You may have some blown fuses, blower motor or dash control unit bad. Outside temp. could be bad sensor. Would suggest taking to Chevy. to get fixed right.

put in fan in basic terms does it artwork? if it does then a/c on fan on if it doesnt check out capacitor for fan the two way your going to could call a tech dont run it may do greater injury could be board t-stat cap or intense velocity windings or low voltage cord from t-stat sturdy luck it is going to ice up in case you keep working it and no the exterior shouldn't run without the blower working
