I need an oil seal for a 26HP Intek, PTO side. Can anybody cross reference this Briggs and Stratton part number to a number that I can use at either Oreilly, Autozone or NAPA? The losers at the local Service Center don't stock it and said it would probably be Monday before they placed their next order and the losers at the parts store can't cross reference it because that would require looking in the parts book, and they don't have the mental capacity to perform that activity. Anyhow, the information I have is...

Engine Model- 445877

Number on the seal which is currently in the engine- 792103

Briggs and Stratton oil seal part number the Cub Cadet dealer gave me- 795387

Thanks for your time!

My dad and I both have Craftsman lawn tractors. Mine has a Briggs & Stratton engine, his has a Kohler. I was able to find a cross-reference for mine years ago so I could use a readily-available automotive oil filter as opposed to special-ordering, but have not been able to find one for his. The Kohler website is (big surprise) not helpful - they want you to buy their filters. I have the filter number, but I don't know if it is an "OEM" number or not. Any ideas?

Why don't you cross reference yourself instead of cutting down others for

not bowing down to your every whim.

You have a computer do your own search it isn't always easy to cross reference in a manual.
