Basically you got OLD coolant with rust (corrosion). Need to flush it out and get new coolant - so the inside of your cooling system is not completely rusted away.

Good Luck...

If it became right into a leak, you would be having to function greater coolant. without seeing it,would desire to be that the coolant/antifreeze is so outdated it has broken down . on the different hand, you do no longer point out if there are the different problems. verify the engine oil,is it sparkling?Or seem white streaked?Does the radiator have any sludge? If the only difficulty is the coloring, get the cooling equipment flushed out and you need to be sturdy. If any of the different questions I raised are cutting-edge,get the automobile checked by utilising a mechanic.

Sounds like old coolant. Coolant should be changed every 3 years. Sounds like yours has been neglected.

The test may have dislodged rust from inside the engine block. This turned the coolant brown.

Flush and replace the coolant.

Sounds like classic oil in radiator, which indicates a cracked engine block or blown head gasket. I'm not sure why they wouldn't find that with a head gasket check. Also I don't think I'd trust the temp gauge if is indicates 0c. I'd get second opinion on pressure check.

You must have a coolant flush at least every 3 years. It's too late to change coolant once the color has changed.
