A lot of newer cars have an impact sensor under the dash that trips in a crash. It shuts off fuel to the engine to reduce the risk of fire. There may be a note on this in the car's manual, or the dealer will know where it is.

A kill switch was made to kill the car from starting.
It happens if the person crashes or if they turn it on
by hand. It depends what kind it is. Take care to mechanic for a test.

Most kill switches are connected to an alarm. Check that. :)
