I have a 1991 Nissan d21 pickup and the front turn signals are not working. I already checked fuses and bulbs and the grounds. I need to know which wires I would have to splice into in the rear lights to connect to the front turn signals.

It's best to fix the issue at hand and not try to by pass the circuits especially turn signals due to safety checks or certification checks that a shop etc may have to do.If you've a dual function or dual bulb circuit you have to take in consideration that there is two bulbs in the bulb and one can short out causing different issues.
My best advice is try a whole new set of front bulbs and change the rear ones too so the circuit is more stable and balanced. Also signal circuits are quite sensitive and one faulty front bulb can cause both front or rear signal issues, this is why if I run into such issues I always change all 4 bulbs and keep any of the good old bulbs are emg spares.
Once you have the new bulbs installed see how the signals work and don't forget a bad relay can cause issues or a bad ground, or shorted out wire and check the sockets too.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way when ever you any turn signal issues always check the 4 ways too.

Replace the turn signal union. Otherwise it will cut the power down and not beable for drivers to see you. The brake light and turn signal use the same wires. It short things out in time. It will never pass inspection that way.

Your way won't work, while you have running lights that same Element won't blink, it's always on run. You CAN do it, most auto stores have Replacement sockets, get 4 with 1 more wire than stock, the extra wire will be your running system. Bulbs too. bypass the switch and wire into the ignition ON set at either the key switch or inside the headlight.
