I have a 1999 Ford Taurus. The left rear window I stuck down (down on a 99 FT is hardly down at all). When I went to go roll it up, it wouldn't go up at all. There is no sound or anything when I hit the switch. Being a college student, I cannot afford to get it fixed... I just need it up... can some please tell me how to do this? I tried pushing it up... that didn't work..

You don't . If the switch is defective , { You'd best hope it is} , replace it. Check for a blown fuse.

If your not hearing any sound then it seems to me that the motor is burned up. The best way to get it up is to remove the door panel, probably held on by some tree clips from the back that more than likely will break when you try to remove them. Once the panel is off you should be able to push the window up from the bottom through an access hole. Being that it seems to be a motor issue and not a regulator issue it should stay up once you get it. The only issue I can see you having is if the motor is seized, in which case you will need to disconnect the motor from the regulator then push the window up and reconnect the motor to hold it in position. Window motors are cheap, especially for fords. Check with a local salvage yard. May only cost you $25 and if you are going through the trouble of removing the door panel a motor replacement is only a few bolts and an electrical connector away.

Trick of the commerce - eliminate the door panel and come across the window motor. Get a hammer and smack on the motor whilst protecting down the swap. each and every now and then you will possibly desire to smack it genuine hard, dont be scared in simple terms watch the window itself. many of the time this might a minimum of get the window back up.

open the door and hit the bottom of the door with a rubber mallet or something like it, while holding the switch in the up position

Can't. Duct tape and plastic are your tools.
