Do you kids really think we're taken in by this crap? If you have an Aston Martin at all, it's about ten inches long and has 'Bburago' 1/18 stamped on its ar5e.

Can you believe there's no way to access the trunk when the battery dies?? Nor is there a way to pop the boot open from inside the car (Aston simply replaces the coupe's trunk- release switch with the button to operate the power top). It's odd details like that which keep me from loving the car.
I haven't had a dead battery (yet - it will probably be the next thing to go wrong with this shoddily built car), but there is a little box under the hood (which, thankfully, CAN be opened when the battery is dead) with a + symbol embossed on the cover. Open that box (it's a bit of a pain) and you'll find a metal terminal. Connect the positive lead of your jumper cables to it and the negative lead to anything under the hood made of metal. That will jump a dead battery, or at least give it enough power for you to access the boot.

I've had no experiences with Astons but with other cars, if the Aston comes with a actual key (not a fob) then try and open the car manually via a key hole, if you can open the drivers door and nothing else, (if your car has collapsing seats) collapse the seats and get access to the battery, if nothing else works then I'm afraid it's a call to the AA, the patrol should be able to break into the car

Cost it by way of the cigarette lighter. Buy a plug that matches into the lighter socket and which ends in 2 crocodile clips - these shall be colored red and black so that you can inform pos and neg (purple pos, black neg). Which you could get these at car accessory shops. Connect your charger to the clips and you should additionally instantly be able to open the boot, even though you may also simply proceed to cost by way of the lighter socket. Just be certain that you do not use speedy charge or you may blow the fuse of the socket (do not know the rating but almost certainly 10amps which will have to be enough for ordinary charging. Additionally - are you definite that there is no handbook opener with the important thing??

call the nearest dealership they will likely have a plan already set up to help car owners. I know on a Mercedes that the trunk lock has a function where you turn the key all the way around like you are unlocking the boot normally except when the battery is dead you need to turn the key as far as it will go. without breaking the key and see if this will open the trunk good luck

If you have an angle grinder you can cut a 12" by 12" hole in the boot allowing easy access to the battery to connect the leads.

You can use a small "slave device" that plugs into the cigarette lighter and "allegedly" gives sufficient power to overcome this kind of problem.
