drain the radiator, take the top radiator hose off where it hooks to the thermostat housing, take out 2 bolts and lift the housing up and take out the old thermostat ! clean the mating surfaces on the intake and the housing, put some gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket, install the thermostat with the spring inside the engine, sit the housing down on and put the bolts back in, but only snug each bolt up at a time or you could crack the housing ! put the hose back on, fill the radiator, start your car and check for leaks !
