1990 GMC Sierra pickup. Have tried replacing bulb. Last time, I disconnected the wiring and then reconnected it without changing the bulb, and the blinker worked for about 1 day. After that it quit working in the back again. I'm due for an inspection and need some help to get it working. Thanks.

ok you could 1 of the 3 problems...1 check your ground wires be sure they are tight and not corroded...2 there is a relay in one of the fuseboxes usually the one inside under the dash, check that relay and be sure that its working and in top shape...3 make sure the wire doesnt have a break in it...

You should take the light apart & inspect the circuit board where all the bulbs plug into. There may be some signs of corrosion around the board. This was a problem with these type of tail lights.

Good Luck!

you'll probably have to buy a panel for it. I had a 99

Tahoe with the same problem and I had to keep buying bulbs too. I finally replaced it with a USED panel and it worked fine! try to find one!

Hey have you checked the fuses? That could be the problem or your really having an electrical problem.
