I have a Ford festiva 1995 1.3L and the timing belt had already been replaced before i got the car but wasn't running does anyone know how to do the timing on a 1995 ford festiva? please make sure it is a 1995 and NOT a 1993 :)

haynes is okay. ebay has better manuals but idk if AU.ebay has decent shop manuals and EVTM's

Your best source is at Auto Zone or any other parts store that carries the manual. DO NOT BUY A CHILTON. Chilton sucks. Look for HAYNES. It will show you step by step how to adjust the timing. These books have been a lifesaver for me. It even has pictures. Read the table of contents, or the index. One time, I put a timing belt on too tight, and it didn't run right. On the timing belt cover, there might be notches and numbers or something like that. You have to line up the pulleys properly; it has to be in a certain position. Also, it could be the distributor or spark plug wires. Consult the HAYNES manual.
