You would be going from a 29.5 inch tall tire to a 30.6 inch tall tire... your speedometer will be 3.7% too slow...

is it really worth it for 1 inch taller tire.... plus, your are saying that is the max you can stuff in there... so what about when you hit a bump... rubbing alll that stuff..

If you want bigger tire I would lift it first. Make room for some decent tires, only 1 inch taller is going to make any postive changes.

EDIT: Bigger tires do not give you better gas mileage Don't believe that for a second, and yes, you can get yourcomputer reprogrammed, or buy a programmer, or a new vss gear to fix your speedometer, but thats more money you have to spend just because you got a 1 inch taller tire.

Go to tirerack.com to find what your truck requires as a standard tire. Open up any brand of light truck tire and look at the word SPEC. under the tire. At the far right you'll see a column that's initials are RPM. In tire language this means revolutions per mile. If you expect your speedometer to be fairly accurate within a mile or two. Don't pick a tire that rolls more or less than 15 RPM as compared to your standard tire or your speedometer will be inaccurate.

it will not do alot for anything much you might be able to go more in mud or snow but then you will lose horsepower and the speedo will be off.... and your better off getting the mid range price tire the cheap one are just that cheap one will run like a year one will run two so think about it another 100 buck could get you another yr of driving and getting a name brand is better than one you have never heard of and depending on where and what you are going to be driving in the most really is your choice

bigger tires well i have heard better gas milage (car sales men) and then there is the cool look but if your in snow the narrower the better and as far as the speed-ometer being off they make a thing that will fit on the speedometer cabel to the trany that will make it read correctly

your speed-o-meter is set to run on the original tire sizes., yes it will work for all purpose
