I was thinking of getting some for my car, but im worried that if I need to take them off they would take off my paintwork too.
Anyone used emblems before, are they easy to take off?

These are the ones I want, the decription is in the link:

It's possible it will ruin the paint by the paint not fading under the chrome pieces as the rest of the cars paint fading the older it gets, you should be able to take the pieces off without ruining the paint but as I say once off down the road the imprint of the letters will still be there due to paint fading problems.

Use de-icer, then rinse de-icer from vehicle, making specific to apply water+vinegar or water+washing up liquid, so as that it does not freeze and you ought to start up yet back. to answer your first question, sure this is going to wreck the paint artwork, as this is going to strip off the layers of paint slowly yet easily.
