My car had a bad idle, I used fuel injector cleaner and it fixed it, but now hesitates under light acceleration. I also get sputs of speed now under heavy acceleration, feels like I have a turbo that just kicked in sometimes. All this happend after the cleaner. The spurts of speed are more speed than the car ever had. And under heavy acceleration my car has more get up and go after the cleaner with no hesitation. The hesitation is just under light acceleration. What do you think the problem could be. Thanks for your help in advance! THANKS MUCH! Oh ya, the car is a 93 240sx. Do you think the injectors may be bad?

Just for giggles disconnect your battery for a ten count and reconnect.Perform a test drive and see if you have a change in performance[ clears computer],if not then Run another dose of injector cleaner ,change your fuel filter, and inspect your plugs for fouling or change them out ,I would also recommend cleaning air intake components inlet temperature sensor, mass air flow, and any other parts in the path from the air filter to the engine side.

And while you are at it check your engine timing ,depending on the vehicle a timing chain or belt that is stretched can also effect timing with the computer and cause a hesitation hindering engine performance as well .

I seen this happen more then once, after you run the fuel cleaner through the fuel system it break all the trash a loose from inside of the fuel tank a long with the fuel lines, your best bet would be to change the fuel filter , then wait about 10 days and change it again ,this should take care of your problem.

you often put in the gas cleanser earlier filling up. That way the hot gas will stir up and combine it with something of the gas. yet do no longer pass loopy with injector cleaners. in case you used few and additionally you nonetheless have issues then it somewhat is time for a clean gas injectors (if it is your concern). Injector cleaners are very efficient solvents. too plenty isn't a sturdy element, Sorry to grant the undesirable information. sturdy success.

I'd check your fuel filter or filters, sometimes there's two.And i would check the spark plugs. While cleaning the injectors you may have fouled a plug.I would also run hotter plugs.

it might be that the fuel filter is getting dirty or the throttle body needs cleaning.
