Just noticed tar on the side of my truck. Anybody know of a good remover without hurting the paint/finish.

WD-40 is a lightweight oil based lubricant they desolves tar and will not damage clear-coat or paint. It does however strip wax off the paint.

Peanut butter, sounds funny, but try it. It won't hurt the paint and is alot better than hydrocarbons.
