I live in California and I got pulled over for my license plate frame because my frame was tinted. How much does a fix it ticket cost?!

I have a valid driver's license but unfortunately, I didnt have it on me but I gave the cop all my info, even my ID number.

He cited me for the license plate & driving without a ID.
I know a fix it ticket shouldnt be that bad, but what about the ID?

on the ticket itself there should be a phone number or website that you can go to to check out the fines for various citations.

in most states, the fix-it ticket is thrown out if you take your car back and prove that you fixed the problem within the amount of time that they give you.

In California a "Fix it Ticket" does not cost anything. You have 60 days to have the problem corrected, then all you need to do is take it to a peace officer and prove that you have corrected the problem, have him or her sign the ticket and turn it in. The address is on the back. If you do not take care of this then it will turn into a warrant that could be quite costly.

depends how much it cost to repair easy to remove tinted plate cover and go to get your license wil not cost anything more.. you show that to any cop go to court say i remove tinted cover and get license.. jugde will say ok get out but dont and he will get mad and want to know why you didnt fix it.. its like they giving you a chance to make things right... be stupid not to get it done and show up at court and then get a fine and court cost and still have to go and do the stuff also hav eto come back agian a second time to show you did it dont you think
