Question:
How do I reset the "service light" on an imported Japanese Nissan 350z Roadster?

I have an imported Japanese spec Nissan 350z. Even though it has been regularly serviced by Nissan UK, it has a warning message on the SAT NAV system (which is all in Japanese and doesn't work - but that's another issue) telling me that I need to get the car serviced - when I don't. I understand that it is possible to reset the warning message using the buttons available - but all of the messages (and button text) are in Japanese. Has anyone else had the same issue and has anyone else fixed it? - If someone could tell me what to do, I'd really appreciate it.

We own Toyotas and over the years, and that i come across maximum suitable reliability whilst buying genuine broking factors like brake pads with the help of surfing the internet as I actually have a minimum of two Toyotas sellers in Texas that sell genuine Toyota factors at 30% of MSRP. regionally whilst time is of the essence, the biggest low value is barely 15% that i'm able to get from close by Toyota sellers with time delicate broking coupons that come not often interior the mail. i won't be in a position to speak for Nissan, yet FYI there are quite a few Toyota sellers merchandising with EBAY IDs notwithstanding genuine Nissan brake pads could be uncommon. if so, I in many situations carry on with NAPA vehicle factors or if figuring out to purchase from vehicle section warehouses, the call BENDIX in absestos semimetallic brake pads has been around alongside time. yet another stable website i like to apply whilst i prefer a definite vehicle section in attempting to narrow my decision in terms of high quality for the main suitable value devoid of selecting up the telephone is develop vehicle factors. wish the Above information helps and better of luck!

Call the dealer, they will have the procedure as to reset any warniing lights, or try getting a service manual, or go to chilton.com. This is a web site that has an online library for most every car produced.

There might be some symbols that are common in Japan and North America. It would be best to compair those with a similar North American Nissan with an owners manual. The year might also help!

Go to any autopart store and tell them about it. they will plug a program into your car's computer and will reset it so the light will go off, but i will say that the light will come back on if your car does have any problems. they reseting will take about 1 minute to do and will be free. or just go to the dealership and they'll fix it, im sure it's still under warranty and they wont mind. but it take them about 30 minutes to do a 2 minutes job.
