After I start my car I would press gas to go and it take a couple seconds to actually go. Whats wrong w my car?

I have a 2000 honda accord ex. And sometimes when im at a light and it turns green i was press the gas and the car speedometer would go crazy. I would press the gas to go and and it wouldn't start to go smoothly but as im driving it works fine. I just have problem when I start car and I would press the gas and take a couple seconds to go as im pressing the gas and it would go eventually. Whats wrong with my car? Could it be the Fuel Pump?

It could be the transmission starting to slip. Pull the transmission dip stick ad see if the fluid is dark and smells burnt. It should have no strong smell and should be red.

It could also be the fuel filter being clogged. If it were the fuel pump it would always be giving you problems.

Yes it COULD be the fuel pump. Id take it to someone you trust and have them test the fuel pressure. There's a valve on your fuel rail on the engine that looks just like a valve to put air in your tire. Could also be a dirty fuel filter. Bad spark plugs maybe. A bad ignition coil. Could be lots of things. Id start with checking fuel pressure though, if it were me.
