I work at a call center and one day i got a phone call by mistake of an automated system saying the same thing that i say for data entry to a customer but being less detailed and informative, I answer questions, automated systems dont, plus they frustrate the crap out of customers, ever since then I've been monitored constantly and givin slips like their intentionally trying to fire me to make way for the new automated systems what should i do ? I am representing everyone out there who has a call center job. You might be next what would you do?

You are asking your question in Cars & Transportation > Maintenance & Repairs.

Why don't you ask your question in the proper location and you may get a real answer.

Are you in the US? I don't think there is any stipulation for a company to keep an employee if they are "updating" if that's what it's called. If your under contract you may have a lawsuit, but probably the only thing that you could do is update your resume and start sending it out before the firing date.

Having relatives who do this same line of work, I hear their stories about getting slips for call "mistakes". It's surly a slippery slope when it comes to this type of job. You can be written up for just about anything.

Again, I'd say what another said, update our resume and start sending it out. Get on LinkedIn.com and put up a profile, that is where I found my employer (nothing to do with phones though).

Prove to the superiors, through your actions, that you are far more efficient than a machine.

It's all about money.Your wages must justify your ability to make judgement calls which save the company money in ways that the machine cannot.
