Can pep boys refund a battery i bought by mistake?

So i brought a battery for my car because i thought i needed it but it really wasnt the problem. I just realized it didnt need a new battery. Can i return it to pep boys? I just bought it today and i want my money back since it was so expensive and a waste since i really didnt need it. Now im worried will they take it? If not what should i do? >_

if you installed it, it will show on the terminals and they could not sell again as a new battery. so your question is not complete. did you install it ?

This site I found at like the end of Jan. is sick. They are giving away free 500$ visa giftcards. I dont understand it or know why but I got mine today. The order form is about 20 pages long. They should. If you still have the receipt and the battery was never installed in the car. They should be able to refund your money.
