Will AAA tow my car from my house to a repair facility?
?

It's sitting in my driveway broken down and un-driveable. I do have " AAA Plus", so I'm covered up to 100 miles, just not sure if it's a benefit to tow to a repair facility via my house.
Thx

No. Your membership is specific to you. Not your car. Not your family. If you were driving a friends car and the car got a flat tire, YOU are disabled, YOU are inconvenienced. The flat gets changed. In fact, if your friend was driving and you were the passenger, you are still disabled and the flat gets changed. but if you're the only member in your family, and your husband or uncle gets a flat down the street, and you're not in the car ... sorry, but you are not disabled... they are. If you are the only one in your family with a membership, then you are the only one the AAA will service. If there is a family of 6 people and they all drive, and only one has a membership, but they all shared, then the AAA would lose money and you can't run a business like that. Simple. And Oklatom is correct. The AAA will not tow a car because it has expired tags, at least not for free. At the classic level, you get 8 miles of towing. At the Plus level you get 100 miles. At the Premium level you get 200 miles once and 100 miles three more times...all free

They will give you some help right at your house to get it working (or you can decline this). Otherwise they'll tow it to where you want it to go within your radius and per your contract and within reason.
For example, if your contract specifically says closest shop (not any shop), but you want them to take it to the brand dealer that just a few miles further, they'll do it and not give you a hard time about it.
Call them up! Use your service, you paid for it!
The only exception is if you've already used the service too many times this year as described in your contract, they may charge a small surcharge.

Whether or not you will get charged is really beside the point isn't it? You need your car towed period. Try getting free towing approved over the phone but if you have to pay keep the receipt in hopes you will be reimbursed.

if you are not home start covered best solution you and a friend push the car up the road or round the corner then phone in a breakdown and nominate which garage to go to if needed
