It is not like a usual window change. When I take door panel off usually you can put new window in this way, but on my truck when I take panel off where you would usually insert the window there are metal sheets?? that prevent me from placing window in. What is the procedure for changing this window or any websites for self installation.

The glass slides in and out from the same slot through the top of the door. (Where the window normally rolls out from.)

All you need to do is unbolt the window from the mechanism that rolls the window up or down. They place holes in the door so you can get to the bolts. Remove Bolts and pull window out. Because the bolts aren't on the mechanism to roll the window up or down, you now have enough play in the glass to tilt it slightly to get it out.

Replacement is just the reverse. But make sure you align the glass with the window tracks.

This has been the usual way to change the window since I've been working on cars.

maximum motor vehicle window fix places cost via how massive the window is and if its the driving force area window this is going to be anymore than a $a hundred.00 and additionally you shoudl in all likelihood save around for fee quotes first.

Hate to say it, but I think the best bet at this point is to contact a mobile glass repair company in your area.
