Ok, so I even drove the car earlier this morning and it was fine. Has been a real good car but I have had for about 6 months and I know some work was done on it before. Now I got in and it wouldn't go to reverse unless you shut off the car. Trying to put in any gear while running in the driveway makes a violent shaking of the whole motor and when I push the clutch it goes straight to the floor? Please help?

Your car has a hydraulic clutch. Check the fluid in the clutch reservoir first. It it has plenty of fluid, then either the clutch master cylinder or the clutch slave cylinder has gone out. The slave cylinder appears to be external, meaning you do not have to pull the transmission out to replace it.

You will see a little reservoir on the firewall ( make sure it's full before you go any further). Follow the hose coming off of it to where it ends near where the engine and transmission come together (it may be on the bottom side). There you will find the slave cylinder. Watch it while you have some one step on the clutch. Watch for leaks. If you see that the slave cylinder is wet with fluid, it's bad. If it's not wet, and the reservoir is full and the slave cylinder is not moving, then the master cylinder is bad.

clutch cable is probably broken. or if its hydrolic, it has a leak or a bad master/slave cylinder.
