cant figure out why my dash lights dont wanan work anymore.
alittle awhile ago my intercooler hose broke and water sprayed everywhere under the hood causing the dashlight and headlight and corner running lights to blow out.
i fixed the problem and noticed it was the fuses headlight and corner running lights which also work the dashlights into the truck.
i would change the fuse for the cornerlights which would keep blowing i dont know why so i ended up putting a bigger fuse because i was on the road and had nothing else and next thing i know is that the dash lights went out again but the cornerlights still worked and til this day they still work. but dash doesnt. also the light on charm doesnt work if i were to leave them on i wont know unless i look sometimes ill forget and it would make a noise letting me know the lights are on but yet the fuse for it is good.

what could be wrong? and whats causing it to keep shorting out

Because you put a bigger fuse in, the dash lights themselves blew due to over-current and will need to be replaced. When the "water" sprayed everywhere it obviously left deposits which are causing a short, you'll need to carefully take all connections apart and clean them, else steam-cleaning the engine bay *might* solve the problem.

check you haven't accidentally turned down the dash lights brightness control usually a knob or wheel near a switch

if all else fails, interior the back of the sprint there's a plastic circuit board that connects each and each bulb and components floor and 12 volts to each and each, I actual have seen this plastic crack and disconnect the circuit, demands removing of the sprint and investigating.
