I was wondering about the availability or parts and service for the Cadillac Allante, specifically the 1990 Allante. I have read where Cadillac does not support this car any longer so parts are very hard to get. Any thoughts? Thanks.

DO yourself a BIG favor and just WALK AWAY RENEE!!! THose cars ae ANATHEMA to good engineering and are a TRUE MONEY PITT! The BODIES were made in Italy by PINANFARINA, which is the GOOD thing. The engines are a JOKE that never reach 100k miles without serious attention and rebuilding. OLDER CADDIES really are BAD choices!!!The CAM bearings can swivel and prevent lubrication to the cylinder heads, and the SLEEVES in the engine will BREAK DOWN< slip and loosen. it is a NIGHTMARE of poor choices! TRY a good used MERCEDES first. There is a REASOn why GM went into bankruptcy they could NOT seem to make cars people WANT or that can easily get to 300k TROUBLE FREE miles. The CADDIES are the worst ones yet!!! Just check ANY consumer reports on it!

it should not be hard to do as long as you can find the parts. out side suppliers are still around.

If you haven't bought it...don't.
