He said that if I take the cam belt of my car the car will then go 50 MPH faster than it would previously go. So I cut the cambelt off, started the engine, it ran fo a couple of seconds, no problems, then I heard a loud bang in the engine and it completely cut off :/ The car will not start now. I'm really concerned :/ what should I do?

I bought the car for £5000 and I love it

Either this is a joke and you're trolling, or sorry but you are flat out stupid!!

If this is not a joke, then how on earth could you believe him!?? The belt is there for a reason, didnt you think if that was true, cars wouldnt have them in the first place??

Your engine went out in timing and now you're looking at replacing the engine in your car. I can't believe you still call him a mate, what kinda friends do you have!?

You should'nt have listened to your mate you've now got a big problem the engine will now be out of sync and it may have smashed the piston to bits along with other things you will have an expensive repair bill for your car

He was just jealous and was pulling a joke on you! Pretty expensive joke, just cost you and engine, that piston came up and smacked the valve and bent the valve, I can't believe how ******* ****** you are! Looking at least $4,000. to repair and rebuild that engine. With out the cam belt, your engine time is out of time and also the oil pump is not working. Way to go Dude.....

What a troll. It never would have started without a cam belt. Judging form the other questions you've asked, you need to find something productive to do with your time. And yes, everyone can see your questions on your pulse page.

the engine is not blow and the pistons and valves are fin all you need to do it put the timming belt back on but first you have to to make sure you set you timming right be fore you put the belt back on as far as i know if it a over head cam motor then there should be a dot on the cam pully and the crank pully that has to be facing each ether and the engine should start up if it a dual over head cam(dohc) it is the same but you will have to pullys on top and it set up the same
