I am painting my car with acrylic enamel paint and I was wondering how much lacquer thinner I should mix in with the primer before I spray it. It is non-sanding enamel primer. Also, how long should I wait between coats and how long should I wait before switching from primer to color?

You can not mix lacquer and enamel/acrylic enamel. You will get a mess and it will not spray.

Go to the store you got the paint from and get the proper thinners for the paint you have.

I would make sure first that the primer your using is a non sanding primer and read the tin to see the right mixture. Once you have the right primer and have applied one coat, this should be all you need to do primer wise so long as the prep is all fine. The time between primer and color is about five to ten minutes depending on the temperature.
