I hit my front left tire against a curb today due to the icy road conditions. I couldn't have been going more than 10 mph. Here are 2 pictures of the tire

Would I need a tire replacement, because I am a commuter student and I don't want to have an accident because my tire is screwed up.

The tire is good but i would recommended you change the rim since you will have slow leak problems soon if not already

i would definately get the whole thing replaced before the rim, due to pressure, punctures the tire and u have a blowout on a icy road

thinking it is in user-friendly words 2 years old - It has, (must have) ABS. if that is the case - i might want to positioned the recent ones at the front because it is possibly a the front wheel rigidity. this can help with preventing, cornering and in slick climate because the motorcar is extra depending at the front brakes/the front rigidity. With ABS, the motorcar will immediately regulate for quite a few highway situations and the a lot less traction of the rear tires.

Your rim needs to be replaced based on those pictures. Even if you beat it back into shape, you may never get a good seal. If you are on a budget, check your local salvage yards.

theres really nothing you can do to prevent damage already done
